「文書Aを作成する。」というタスクはNG。

文書Aがその日の内に作成し終えることができるものならこれでもかまわないが、大抵は終わらない。その日のうち、といったところで一日中文書作成に費やせるわけではなく、結局2時間程度しか割けなかったりする。

そうすると、自動的に次の日のタスクとしても残ってしまい、「やったけど、終わってない。」という何とも気持ちの悪いものがToDoリストに居座ることになる。達成感は当然わかない。個人的にこれがすごく重要だったりする。

というわけで、

「文書Aを作成する」というタスクを２日間持ち越すかわりに、

１日目「文書Aの○○ページ目まで作成する」

２日目「文書Aを作成し終える」

や

１日目「文書Aの内容の大枠を作成する」

２日目「文書Aの内容を埋める」

とすることにした。

コーディングなんかにも適用できるかも。

あと、「～を実現する方法を考える」の代わりに、

「～を実現する方法を１つ挙げる」

　　　　　and

「提案した～を実現する方法の問題点を３つ挙げる」

　　　　　and

「提案した～を実現する方法より少しよいものを１つ挙げる」

とかもよいと思う。

やってもいないことをやった気になるのはよくないが、やったことをやった気になれないのはもっとよくない。
